The Big Read...and the big researchEarlier this fall, I had a chance to participate in the Big Read festival.
The Big Read is a national organization, with chapters located througout the country. The St. Louis chapter held its festivities on the grounds of Clayton High School. It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning...but
extremely chilly.
Greg Mortenson, Nobel Peace Prize nominee and bestselling author of Three Cups
of Tea, was the keynote speaker.
At the podium, reading from Ms. Taken Identity.
 Signing books after my reading.
I'm also at work on my next novel, untitled at
this point. Opera plays a role, and I had the great pleasure of sitting down with local opera aficionado Alif Williams. We talked a lot about arias and drank our fair share of wine. Thanks so much, Alif!
Alif shares his wisdom--and his wine.
